Devine Homes Plc recognises the importance of transparency regarding personal data usage. This privacy notice covers visitors to the website, customers, potential customers, contractors, suppliers and job applicants. We commit to using personal data consistently with applicable data protection laws and individual rights.
Devine Homes Plc is the data controller, determining how and for what purposes personal data is used.
Personal data you provide directly
We collect data when you request products or services, sign up to newsletters, correspond with us by email, phone or SMS, interact with us on social media, submit feedback, or report problems. This can include your name, postal address, email, phone numbers, gender, date of birth, social media handles, financial information and your thoughts on our products.
Job applicants provide their name, address, phone number, email, gender, date of birth, health information, CV contents, evidence of work authorisation, salary information, notice period, employment history and how they applied.
Site visits
Personal data collected at sales centres, show homes, construction sites or offices includes name, postal address, email and phone number. CCTV recordings capture video and audio for staff and customer safety, crime prevention and equipment protection, not general monitoring.
Automatically collected data
Technical information gathered includes IP address, login information, browser details, device types, operating system, timezone, and visit analytics (URLs, clickstream, products viewed, page response times, visit duration and interaction data). This supports site administration, troubleshooting, statistical analysis and detecting illegal acts. IP addresses are anonymised on collection.
Data from other sources
We may receive personal information from other company websites or corporate group services.
Contractual arrangements justify processing for product and service orders. Legitimate business interests support customer satisfaction measurement, troubleshooting and security. Legal obligations require processing in compliance situations. Consent is required for electronic marketing (unless existing customers have not opted out). Legitimate interests apply to recruitment, safety and delivery of relevant information.
Failure to provide requested information may prevent us performing a contract with you, which could result in cancellation of a product or service, and we will notify you if so.
We use personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected. Any alternative use requires prior notification, an explanation of the legal justification and potentially a new privacy notice.

For property-related transactions, third parties include estate agents, managing agents, financial and legal advisors, mortgage providers, the National House Building Council, utility providers and local authorities. All third parties must meet agreed security standards and are restricted to processing for the purpose of providing services.
